Chaga Ingredients
The healing properties of birch mushroom are explained by its rather interesting composition, which is somewhat different from other medicinal mushrooms. Chaga is rich in betulinic acid – a powerful antioxidant that protects body cells from damage by free radicals, has an antitumor effect. Magnesium in the mushroom normalizes blood pressure, myocardial function and, in combination with potassium, improves the conductivity of signals in the nervous system; potassium and sodium salts maintain a sufficient level of water-salt balance and oxygen in the cells of tissues and organs; iron stimulates the production of hemoglobin; zinc – slows down the aging process, as well as the level of glucose, cholesterol and thyroid hormones, which reduces the risk of diabetes, strokes and heart attacks.

Application:

Chaga can be taken in powder form, 3 – 4g per day.
You can drink it like regular tea, pouring boiling water over it and letting it steep for 10-15 minutes.

The most convenient way in my opinion is to make an infusion. To do this, take 4-5 pieces of Chaga and pour hot water over it. It should be steeped for at least 6 hours.

This process can be accelerated by making

Chaga decoction, step-by-step instructions:

  1. Measuring the dose: Determine the required amount of chaga to prepare the decoction. The usual ratio is 1 part chaga to 5-6 parts water.
  2. Preparing water: Add the appropriate amount of water to a pot and place on the stove.
  3. Adding chaga: Add water to a pot and add chaga powder or pieces to it.
  4. Cooking: Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat and leave on low heat for 20-30 minutes.
  5. Strain and cool: After cooking, strain the decoction through a sieve or filter to remove any remaining chaga. Cool the decoction to an acceptable temperature.
  6. Intake: The finished decoction can be consumed as a drink, diluted in water or juice, if necessary, you can add honey or sugar to taste.

Dosage:
Chaga tea: If you use chaga tea, it is recommended to drink it once or twice a day. Usually the amount of tea at one time is about 1-2 cups (240-480 ml).
Chaga decoction: Regarding chaga decoction, the recommended dose can be approximately 1/2 – 1 teaspoon to 1 cup (240 ml) of water. This decoction can also be taken once or twice a day.

Birch Chaga is a very strong remedy that reduces the risk of inflammation and improves immunity. For a strong and reliable result, it should be drunk for at least 3 months. After that, you can take a break for 1-2 weeks, and continue taking it in preventive doses according to your feelings.
